this second disc of the treacle well album was recorded in a variety of places (bedrooms, a rural church basement and gymnasium with disgruntled priests making occasionnal appearances, a parking lot to a beach at the crack of dawn with early morning workers cutting the lawn somewhere, old tapes found in a grandparent's former home). all these places are called studio chocolat chaud...

catherine holbrook played piano on preludes and her son geof played the french horn. kat boechler played her grandma harp on oil in exchange for strawberries and whisky. rick rosato played double bass on oil, cooked dinner for me and poured some very good grappa. matt legroulx provided strings on oil. elysabeth burrowes, fany fresard, klô pelgag and romain pollet sang back vocals on basement heroes. romain played glockenspiel too on that one. jérémi roy played drums on machine (take 1), and ian jarvis on the right hand side drums in ladybugs. all the rest by daniel gélinas, including songwriting, lyrics, recording, mixing and mastering (studio chocolat chaud).
